Keeping Manuals as Offline PDFs Aboard

“Stuff Happens”, when you least expect it, at the worse times. When it does happen, and it will, do you have the manual to troubleshoot the problem? And, if you do, how well can you see the details, or the wiring diagrams?

While we have the manuals stuffed in a bag as backup, keeping digital downloads of the manuals provides search and the most important feature: the ability to pinch zoom into the details. Keeping a local copy ensures you can get to them, when you need them, and not when the internet gods will allow.

Then, what about those “factory procedures” for setting the magic codes on the refrigerator, or how to program the generator to start from the display panel?

I’ve assembled the manuals we use aboard our Excess 14, Hull Yeah, and and the procedures we’ve received from various vendors. Most of the links are downlaods from our blog as manufacturers change their URLs too often.

If you have any additional manuals or procedures you’d like to see us post, please let us know in the comments below, or through a DM message
